New Year's Resolution

I am not a big beleiver in creating new years resolutions. These resoutions are usually created to be broken a month after they were made. However, the changes that have occured in my life seem to be occuring naturally at the beginning of the new year. I have attempted to give up coffee and hard alcohol throughout 2022 with no real results but as the year came to a close my body said "enough!" These changes have also come with positive consequences; I am drinking more water, I am waking up without the need of caffeine, I am saving money not buying expensive bottles of alcohol choosing wine instead. I am also choosing healthier meal options and picking salads when eating out istead of french fries.

I have also decided to give up social media. I have deleted facebook, instagram, twitch, youtube, tiktok and twitter off of my phone. As a result, I am forced to express my thoughts on here, my blog. It also give places my attention on the real world and real interactions with the people and things around me. I plan to continue to write blogs and make content for Youtbe, however, now my attention is less split and I can focus more of my time and energy into fewer things.
